CRM
CRM is the page for outbound email to the lists you own — drafting, templating, scheduling and tracking one-to-many sends through a connected HubSpot portal. It lives at /<workspace>/crm, sits behind a Launch-tier plan, and is shown by default to the Marketing role.

Connecting HubSpot
The cog icon at the top right opens CRM settings, where you connect a HubSpot portal with the standard OAuth handshake. The same modal opens automatically if you arrive on the page with ?tab=integrations or ?tab=hubspot.
A send-ready HubSpot portal is required before anything can be scheduled. A portal counts as send-ready when its connection is authorized and it can send marketing email — in practice, the OAuth grant includes the email-send scopes. A portal that is connected but not send-capable shows on the settings modal but never appears in the sender picker, and the Create tab says so with a warning instead of a dropdown. Nothing on this page sends through Gmail; that is a Communication connection used by agents, not by CRM.
Tabs
Five tabs across the top:
Create
The composer. Pick a template (optional — applying one replaces the current subject and body after a confirmation), write the subject and email body, then on the right choose the recipient contact list and the HubSpot sender. Save as a draft at any time; Schedule is enabled only when the draft is complete — subject, body, an eligible contact list with at least one contact, and a send-ready sender.
Draft from campaign is the tab's AI action: pick a campaign from Strategy → Campaigns and the subject and body are drafted for that campaign's audience, message and offer, with the campaign's primary landing page already linked. The draft carries the campaign chip so you can see what it was written for, and every link in it is UTM-tagged for the campaign automatically.
Drafts & Templates
Two lists. Drafts are saved outbound emails that have not been scheduled yet — each shows its subject, list, sender and status, with edit and schedule actions. Templates are reusable subject-and-body pairs (name, subject, body); create, edit, duplicate or delete them here and apply them from the Create tab.
Schedule
A rolling two-week board, one column per day with today highlighted, showing every queued email in the workspace's timezone. Drag a card between days to reschedule it, or click into it to edit or cancel. A Ready Drafts panel on the side lists drafts that satisfy every scheduling rule; drop one onto a day to schedule it at that day's default send time. Scheduled emails cannot be moved into the past. Opening a scheduled email for editing gives you an editable copy — the queued send itself stays unchanged until you reschedule it.
History
Sent, failed and cancelled emails, with subject, list, sender, the time it went out and the delivery status. Failed sends show their error.
Contact Lists
The lists you send to — labelled Contact Lists on this page, and called segments in the API (not to be confused with Strategy → Audiences, which describe who you sell to rather than who you have the email address of). Upload a CSV or TXT with a column named email; rows without a valid address and duplicates are dropped and the list reports its contact count. Each list carries a chip — CRM email eligible or CRM email pending verification — and only eligible lists with at least one contact can be scheduled to. Use on a list drops it straight into the Create tab's recipient picker.

How CRM ties to the other pillars
- From Strategy → Campaigns — Draft from campaign is where a campaign's outreach step lands; the draft and its schedule both point back at the campaign, and the campaign lists them.
- From Code → ChangeLog — the release notes that feed Communication and Social are the same source a campaign draft summarises, so customer emails match what was actually shipped.
- To Agents → Scheduler — every email scheduled here appears on the shared Scheduler tab with the other scheduled items, and can be filtered by campaign.
- To Discover → Analytics — email links are UTM-tagged per campaign, so the landing page library on Strategy → Campaigns and the Attribution tab on Analytics can show what a send actually converted.
