Communication
Communication is the hub for the channels you talk to customers and your community through — Discord servers and Gmail accounts today, with more channels rolling in over time. The page lives at /<workspace>/communication, sits behind a Launch-tier plan, and is shown by default to the Marketing role.

What this page is for
Two distinct jobs live here:
- Connection management — link your Discord guilds and Gmail accounts so the rest of AI Expedite can send through them.
- Channel viewing — for Discord, browse what's happening in connected servers and channels right inside the workspace, alongside any messages an agent has posted.
Outbound composition — drafting an announcement email, a launch post, or a support reply — happens through agents bound to the email hooks and Discord hooks (see Agents → System Agents). The Communication page is where you watch those messages land and where you wire the connections that make them possible.
Discord
The Discord tab walks through three pickers: account → guild → channel. Pick an account you've connected (or connect a new one inline), pick the guild that account is a member of, then pick the channel. The right pane renders the channel's recent messages — author, timestamp, content — so you can scan what's been posted without leaving the workspace.
Messages posted by AI Expedite agents are surfaced with a small bot badge; everyone else's posts render normally. This is the surface where you'll see launch announcements, changelog posts, and support replies that an agent published on your behalf, side-by-side with your community's reactions.
System Discord messages (joins, role changes, etc.) are visually demoted so they don't crowd out real conversation.
Gmail
The Gmail tab shows every Gmail account currently connected to the workspace, with the date each was linked and a remove button next to each. Adding a new account is the standard Gmail OAuth flow.
Below the connected-accounts list is a Configure Email Hooks button that jumps straight into Agents → System Agents and scrolls to the email-hook section, so you can pick or build the agent that drafts outbound email. That's where the "match my voice" tuning happens — the system hook always calls some agent; you decide which.
A full inbox/email-management view inside this tab is on the roadmap and currently rendered as a "coming soon" placeholder.
Adding and removing accounts
Both tabs use the cog icon at the top right of the page header to open the Communication Integrations modal, where you can connect new accounts (Discord guild install, Gmail OAuth) or revoke existing ones in one place. The same modal opens automatically if you land on the page with ?tab=integrations.
Removing an account doesn't delete prior history; it just stops the workspace from sending or reading through that account going forward. Re-connecting the same account picks up where you left off.
How Communication fits Launch
- In — ChangeLog entries from Ship → Code feed the agents that draft customer announcements, support replies, and changelog posts.
- Out — agents publish through the Discord and Gmail accounts you've connected here; the result is visible in the Discord tab.
- Loop — replies from customers (Discord reactions, Gmail replies) flow into Inbox as integration notifications, where they can be triaged or promoted into a Roadmap → Feedback cluster.
