Direct video downloads, steadier character faces, and a session ledger for coding agents
· 3 min read
Videos can be downloaded directly, character faces stay more consistent across scenes, and coding agent sessions get a ledger, while email gains BCC and the calendar updates live.
Exporting a finished video is now a single click, with no social format required. Characters keep their faces more reliably from scene to scene. Coding agent sessions now have a home above the chat input, and Inbox and Calendar both got upgrades.
Video and exports
- Direct downloads: a new Download option sits at the top of the export list. It saves the file to your device with a proper filename, and renders at your project's own resolution instead of a forced social crop.
- Video model picker everywhere: you can now choose a video model in every video mode, with models filtered by audio capability for AI video with audio.
- Fewer render failures: canceling a stuck render works, progress bars update and the download appears when the render finishes, and clips no longer hang indefinitely. The editor also stays open with a warning banner if a save times out, and standard commercial footage is no longer wrongly rejected as a policy violation.
Character consistency
- More consistent faces: character references are now kept separate from style references. Multiple characters in one scene no longer blend together, and Luma and Veo both receive character references in the right way.
- Instant feedback on continuity scenes: clicking generate shows a loading state immediately, so accidental double-clicks are avoided.
Coding agents and voice
- Session ledger: a compact strip above the chat input lists your active coding agent sessions by computer. Voice chat can now work with those sessions from any of your online computers.
- Smarter voice assistant: it answers status questions and deferred-change checks directly instead of handing them off as tasks. It also recognizes a computer that finishes setup mid-session instead of turning it away.
- Parallel runs and maintenance controls: concurrent runs get isolated working folders and per-computer run limits, and abandoned folders are cleaned up hourly. Each computer has a consent toggle for unattended maintenance, and new sessions pause during a CLI update and move to another available agent or computer.
- Accurate OpenCode usage: v2 usage and session data are now read and counted correctly after a run.
Inbox, calendar and documents
- BCC support: you can add BCC recipients when composing or replying to email, including by voice. Invalid addresses are flagged, and the read-back confirms blind-copied names before sending.
- Live calendar: changes made in Google Calendar now show up right away, and editing is safe when something changes underneath you.
- Roomier document viewer: it is wider, with more space for tables, code, diagrams and images, and the scrollbar sits at the edge of the center pane.
